For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
With my young daughters nearing school age, my wife and I have been talking a lot about the importance of a Christian education. We have even been toying around with the idea of homeschooling. Whether we homeschool or not, we definitely feel the need to supplement any education with a Christ centered curriculum.
I have decided to compile a list of why my wife and I put importance on a Christian Education.
- We were created in God’s image and we are special. So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he create them (Genesis 1:27). Scientist are really pushing the idea of alien life on other potential earth like planets in space. This whole idea is to prove that life can “evolve” on other worlds which would make humans not as special as we “think” we are.
- God created everything we see (Genesis Chapter 1). Even Darwin acknowledged the fact that the fossil record did not support evolution, so he put it on later generations to prove his theory. We now have billions of fossils to rely on and they still do not prove evolution. What you do find is that animal appear abruptly and fully functional without lesser evolved counterparts.
- We not only want our girls to know math, science, reading, history, we want them to know that they are all interrelated into God’s world which he created for us.
- Lastly, we want our girls to know there is an absolute truth. The bible lays the foundation for all truth. There are consequences to actions and living is not about being self indulgent.
FRONT AND BACK COVER REVEAL
I am now ready to reveal the front and back cover for my second book “The Fifth Day Winged Creatures.” This book will cover the other 1/2 of the fifth day of creation which included the foal of the earth. My Creation series is a great way to introduce children to the biblical account of creation. This title will be available in Summer 2017.
